Although crises can offer new opportunities, it’s not uncommon for them to be just that: crises. Hailing from Switzerland, Anna Aaron has lived through one, having no idea what to do with herself, even after a successful run as a folk musician from 2007 to 2014. Still, she continued writing music, together with her brother Alain. After five years without a solo release, »Pallas Dreams« is her third album, which she describes with the following words: »flickering radiant highs, pretty, sparkling with lots of delay and sixteenth notes, contrasted with hip-hop bass, deep, dry, fat with a belly«. Last year, she offered a preview of what that actually sounds like, with the lead single under the telling title of »Why Not?«: electronic, confrontational, full of contrast. The soundtrack for the opportunities that arise after the crisis.
