Accessibility

Accessibility at the Festival

All our venues are well or very well accessible for wheelchair users.

Additionally, a barrier-free ground system guarantees mobility on the cobblestone pavement.

Part of our programme will be ac- companied by sign language interpreters.

Our mobile inclusion team is available for all our guests with special needs.

An accessible signage system facilitates orientation on the festival grounds.

If you have any questions about accessibility, please feel free to contact us in advance at inklusion@pop-kultur.berlin.

Ticketing / Accompanying Person

Guests who are holders of the German Schwerbehindertenausweis B may receive an additional ticket for an accompanying person upon request.

Audio-Podcasts

»Pop-Kultur – A Festival for Everyone (AD)«

Our documentary, which we produced with the nonprofit Sozialhelden, can now be played with audio description. The video should detail the steps we took to make the festival more inclusive.

More information about accessible event planning and funding for inclusive projects can be found at www.ramp-up.me and www.musicboard-berlin.de

We will also provide cultural guides for special situations requiring personal contact or support. These guides may be contacted at the »Treffpunkt« or via our staff members at all of the club entrances.

»Treffpunkt«

We are offering the »Treffpunkt« as a means of making Berlin’s diversity more visible. It will act as a meeting point for exchange and information about initiatives for inclusion in pop-cultural work.
The »Treffpunkt« will also act as contact point for guests with special needs.
