Inclusion is an increasingly hot topic, and that includes the broad field of pop culture. Who can get in where, how, and under what conditions? How can we get rid of barriers, not only between the concert hall and the stage but in people’s minds too? Station 17 know all too well the hurdles we have yet to overcome. The band’s mentor Christian Fleck and singer Sebastian Stuber, who both contribute synth, will speak from years of experience along with Uwe Nicksch from the nonprofit Sozialhelden, discussing how cultural formats can be more inclusive for artists and audiences, along with what else needs to change.
