Mona Mur: »Those Days Are Over«

The 2018 album »Those Days Are Over« is a cross-media collaboration by singer, performer and composer Mona Mur with photographer, writer and filmmaker Miron Zownir. Mur, who will also present her newest album »Delinquent« with a full band at Pop-Kultur on Friday, has transformed 15 of Zowner's poems into the deeply disturbing »Poetronica« as she casts a cynical outsider perspective on the many surfaces of our existence. Mur, musically active since the early 1980s, has crafted a mysterious map using Zowner's English lyrics, absorbing the poet's idiosyncratic expressiveness with vocal and sonic compositions that are melancholic and provocatively wild in equal measures.
