If one day, we look back at the German-language music of the second decade of this millennium, we could probably choose 50 albums as groundbreaking documents of the decade. Max Gruber delivered two of them under the name Drangsal, and Max Rieger had his hand in most of the others either as a musician or producer. Since Rieger is the only one still on his high-performance grind on Twitter, conversations between the two probably only take place via end-to-end encryption to the exclusion of the public. But for Pop-Kultur, they will dialogue, for an hour, in front of an audience, talking about everything. A bit like a podcast, only without jingles or ads, and uncompromisingly live. Maybe with some music, or about it, and why it actually sounds so shitty – who knows. The conversation will be hosted by music journalist Gesine Kühne.
