Some producers are still trying to find themselves; others just want to be found. Annegret Fiedler first made music under various guises, occasionally collaborating, before the world finally figured out what she was up to. By the time Perel released the track »Die Dimension« and the subsequent debut album »Hermetica« on New York’s DFA Records, she won new fans over here in her homeland, thanks to a house sound that’s equally inspired by Italo disco, new wave and Neue Deutsche Welle (and not the embarrassing kind).
