Neue Deutsche Wahrheit. 22.40–23.10 / Concert. The duo Neue Deutsche Wahrheit oscillates between painful melancholy and bittersweet romanticism – disorientation becomes pleasure, melancholy an attitude. Neue Deutsche Wahrheit exaggerates gloomy world-weariness into their own identity, turning clubs into theatre stages and the concert into a performance. Ted Brasko Show. 23.30–00.00 / Concert. In a show spanning music and theatre, performing artist Ted Brasko travels through fictitious characters and identities. The show explores genres ranging from tap, trap, IDM, prog-rock to Schlager and is completed by costumes, lighting and various guest performers from the fields of dance, painting, visual arts and music. Rompiste Mis Flores. 00.00–01.00 / DJ set. After seeing the electronic music scene in her country taken over by just a few men, Costa Rican artist Rompiste Mis Flores has responded with a multifaceted sound influenced by Latin rhythms, industrial and darkwave as well as dream-pop and ambient – altering between sweet and sour, soft and aggressive. Fritz Unsigned plays music that can’t be found on the market but is nonetheless worth hearing. Whatever kind of music it is, or how it’s made – as long as it sounds good and the band creating it doesn’t yet have a contract, it’s fair game for Unsigned. Since its first edition, Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs has earned great support from its partner Fritz Unsigned as a partner, especially from moderator Christoph Schrag. Free entry.
