Shari Vari make music for after closing time, when the asphalt shines matte and the last whiskey still burns in your throat. Helena Ratka and Sophia Kennedy got together in 2017 with the intention of writing songs, but something different came out: the outstanding »Life Should Be a Holiday« EP – released on Richard von der Schulenburg’s label It’s – could have been melodramatic pop, but it wanted more and kept on going back to the club. Now in 2019, Shari Vari want even more, yet they still can’t decide whether to go to bed or to hit the dancefloor. The usual dilemmas after closing time. Never told better than by Ratka and Kennedy.
