Swans are back, and they’re not any quieter. The band’s second reunion is accompanied by the release of the documentary »Where Does a Body End?« by director Marco Porsia, celebrating its German premiere at Pop-Kultur. During the intermission of the screening, he will join longtime Berlin-based Swans guitarist Kristof Hahn and the group's keyboardist Paul Wallfisch – also performing live at Pop-Kultur alongside Little Annie – to discuss the history, present and legacy of the most radical band of the last 40 years of pop culture. Also present will be music journalist Nick Soulsby, best known for his books on Nirvana and Thurston Moore as well as last year’s »Swans: Sacrifice and Transcendence. The Oral History,« the definitive telling of Michael Gira’s band.
